Lora Ann Fagen, we all call her “Lori”, was born in 1962, a native of Newton, Illinois.  She married Travis Fagen in June 1994 and they have two boys, Cole and Drew.  She currently lives in Springtown, Texas and retired from 20 years of hair design.  Lori’s love for painting began with paint by numbers kits when she was eight years old.  Her talents grew taking art classes in high school.  After three years of straight A’s, Mr. Jones, a school counselor, asked her to paint a mural of ships on the ocean in his office.  During her senior year, Lori was asked to paint the backdrop for the senior prom.  The theme was “Stairway to Heaven”.  She took the line from the song “There’s a Bird who sings by the brook” and realistically displayed it on canvas.  Actually it was butcher paper and temper paints, but it was perfect.  As time went on she dabbled with paints and sketches just for family and friends.  She always knew it was what she was born to do with her God given talent.  In June of 2001 she decided to take that leap of faith and step out.  Lori is a very versatile artist.  She can recreate anything, but she also has an appreciated flair for creative original artwork of her own.  Some of Lori’s original creations are done on fences, ceilings, walls, canvas, metal and glass.  She does faux finishing and has also done illustrations for a book.  This web site is a quick overview of some of her work.  Please feel free to call or e-mail her and express your desire for any artistic needs.  Free estimates and many references are available.
